The U.S. National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Research Infrastructure Office (RIO) hosted the 2024 Research Infrastructure Workshop from March 26 – 29, 2024, in Tucson, AZ, and virtually. In-person registrants also attended tours of local scientific facilities. The goals of the workshop were to:
- Provide a forum to collect and exchange best practices and lessons learned that elevate the shared knowledge base
- Discuss new initiatives and collect community input
- Demonstrate project management, operations, and business-related tools and techniques
- Expand our community of practice by connecting colleagues across disciplines and organizations to promote collaboration between facilities
