Supporting research at MF by Using R&E Networks

An outcome of the IRNC program has been the partnerships between the NREN operators to reach and support production use of multi-Gbps connectivity to remote science instrumentation. Leveraging R&E networks is a cost effective way for MF to transport science data to U.S.-based data processing centers. This poster presents a successful partnership between the IRNC AmLight international R&E network consortium and the ground-based astronomy community in Chile, featuring the Vera Rubin Observatory.
