This year’s workshop will be held at the Washington Marriott at Metro Center in the heart of Washington, DC. It is a 10-minute walk to the National Mall. It is also a short distance to the DC Metro and the White House.

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING INFORMATION
Transportation
Airport – Reagan National Airport (DCA)is located approximately 5 miles (8 kilometers) from the venue and will be the most convenient option for attendees. For those considering alternatives, Dulles International Airport is 27 miles (43 kilometers) away and accessible by Metro, while BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is 34 miles (55 kilometers) away but is not Metro accessible.
Taxi – Taxis are readily available at Reagan National Airport and provide a convenient and direct way to get to the Marriott at Metro Center. The estimated fare is around $20-25, depending on traffic. Typically drive times from DCA to the Marriott at Metro Center are 15-30 minutes.
Metro – The hotel is just a short walk from Metro Center Station.
From Reagan National Airport: Take the Yellow Line from the airport towards Greenbelt and disembark at Gallery Place. Then, transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove and travel one stop to Metro Center Station, which is just a short distance away from the hotel. The fare is around $2-5, depending on the time of day.
From the National Science Foundation: From Eisenhower Avenue, take the Yellow Line from the airport towards Greenbelt and disembark at Gallery Place. Then, transfer to the Red Line towards Shady Grove and travel one stop to Metro Center Station, which is just a short distance away from the hotel. The fare is around $3-6, depending on the time of day.
Ride-sharing services – Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also available at Reagan National Airport. The estimated fare is around $18-25, depending on traffic and demand.

Parking
Parking in the local area can be expensive and difficult to find, so attendees are encouraged to consider the Metro or alternative transportation options to travel to the venue.
The hotel offers valet parking for guests at a rate of $59 per day with in/out privileges. Alternatively, there are several parking garages within a few blocks of the hotel that offer both self-parking and valet options including:

Colonial Parking – 799 9th Street NW – ($15 – $18 per day)
