[Poster] NOIRLab Driver Based Budgeting and Forecasting

NSF’s National Optical-Infrared Astronomy Research Laboratory (NOIRLab) designed and implemented annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes following a “Driver Based Budget” methodology that is compliant with NSF / OMB rules and regulations. The budget driver based budget cycle enables efficient use of NSF and Participants’ funds, by allowing managers to replan their financial every quarter and review their budget allocation and funding needed to complete or exceed their operating plans.
