The EPO Journey of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory

The Vera C. Rubin Observatory is the first major NSF facility to have incorporated EPO into its planning and construction phases. This session will provide an overview of its journey to this point, as it begins operations and builds momentum towards ‘First Light’ in early 2025. In addition, representatives will share some of the benefits and challenges they have experienced and their plans for EPO during the first few years of Observatory operations
